MeetingTuesday, April 20, 2009 Please join us for our April professional development meeting. This is a joint meeting with the Purchasing Management Association of Louisville (PMAL). Speaker: Robert W. TurnerBob Turner is a long time member of the Purchasing Management
Association of Louisville. He has over 40 years of practical business
experience in a variety of capacities and industries. He retired from
UPS airline in 2009 where he was a financial analyst and procurement
specialist. Bob has a BS in business and an MBA. He is writing a book on
supply management and developing training solutions that organizations
can use to self train internally. Both will be published later this
year. Topics:How to Identify, Manage, and Mitigate RisksPre-Dinner session, 5:30-6:30 PM There are risks present in everything we do. How can you identify what those risks are, determine alternative solutions and then manage them effectively? Learn the techniques to do all of these things at the Purchasing Management Association of Louisville's April Professional Development Meeting. We will be discussing risk identification and management using a hands-on, interactive learning session.
